In this assignment, you will be working with your group to collaboratively construct a lesson plan on your assigned topic:
Phases of matter and phase changes
Each lesson plan must contain the following to receive full credit:
- Grade level and/or Bloom's Level targeted
- GPS addressed (find related GPS at http://www.georgiastandards.org)
- Details about classroom arrangement (where are students, where are teachers, where are standards posted, etc.)
- Background knowledge building activity (the activity could be introducing key terms and/or reading the children's book)
- Key terms
- Use of fiction or non-fiction children’s book
- Inquiry Science lab activity
- Method for assessing learning
- Lesson Resources section with links to lesson-related Internet resources and APA citations of the children’s book/other resources used in the lesson
- Lesson extensions section with links to 10 topic-related Internet resources for teachers and/or students
